Little darlin', it's been a long, cold, lonely winter...

But we're back in a big way!

We've got more shows in the next 3 weeks than we have in the last 3 months. We're actually starting with it tonight at Beaglepalooza. It's a last minute gig filling in for a flu-ridden friend but we're looking forward to it. Unfortunately with last minute stuff there are always some availability issues and as such Worthman won't be playing the show tonight. Instead we'll be playing as the house band lineup with Evan Hennessey playing bass.

We're also at Dooly's next Friday, the 25 and West Side Charlies in Paradise on May 3.

Oh, and we'll be headlining Carbonear Day on August 2. And by headlining I mean we'll be the only band playing.

Now that there is some stuff happening this will get updated more. So keep checking back.

A Good Machine Christmas

It's Christmas and Dooly's are being awesome enough to open up their staff party to the public complete with The Good Machine playing some rock & roll.

The show is Sunday, December 16, and from what I'm told they had like 300 people at their party last year, we should be able to top that...

Shocking Around The Christmas Tree

Alright, Christmastime is here and The Good Machine are going to be playing Dooly's Christmas party on Sunday, December 16 and in the spirit of the season we're hosting a little contest.

All you have to do is submit a photo containing two things:
1) A Christmas tree
2) The Shocker

Ok, how about if you're at the show I buy you a drink, if you're not at the show you get to live with the pride that your photo won the contest.

A photo Donnie didn't pose for...

So I decided I'm going to post photos from shows a couple of times a week to make up for a lack of news. I'm not 100% on how often it will happen, but my intentions are good.

Either way, here's a photo of Donnie by "Adam Penney: Rock Photographer" from our show at Dooly's on Saturday night. It's especially cool because normally we block Donnie and Adam can't get a decent shot unless it's in between songs and then Donnie winds up posing.

This one is alright though.

Dooly's shows

Hey everyone, we've got dates to announce for our next two Dooly's shows. We'll be there next Saturday, November 24 and Sunday, December 16.

Also Worthman's other band "The Comuppins" are playing a show at the Backlot in Corner Brook on Friday, November 30 so if you're out that way you should definitely check them out.
